Coronavirus: India records 48,000 cases in one day

Photo: Collected The number of coronavirus cases in India is increasing at an alarming rate. About 48,000 new patients have been identified in the last 24 hours in the country. According to the Union Ministry of Health, 47,703 people have been newly infected with coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the country. With this, the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 1,484,138 people. And 654 coronavirus victims have died on the same day, bringing the death toll to 33,861 in the country. Read more

Keeping int`l borders shut to thwart COVID-19 not sustainable: WHO

Coronavirus death toll tops 656,000 globally

According to the survey agency, a total of 656,545 have died globally from the deadly virus and 16,643,498 have been diagnosed while 10,231,837of them have recovered. It is one of the most serene lakes in Africa. The lake basin is approximately 65 km long, and 22 km wide although on average only 20% of this is ever covered by water. Arriving there you will see the shores of this lake are covered with thousands of intact petrified bird and animal corpses that have washed ashore.
